I qualified at the University of Utrecht in Holland in 1987.
After qualifying I worked in a private practice, with an amateur football club and FC Utrecht before arriving in England in 1990.
I gained clinical experience in Worthing Hospital with a special interest in respiratory care and held a senior position in Intensive care and medical and surgical wards until 1997.
I then returned to the private sector and have worked at Goring ever since.
My scope of practice includes:
- Musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck pain
- Postural related injuries
- Sports injuries
- Rehabilitation following injury and surgery
- Strokes, Parkinson’s and other Neurological conditions
- Acupuncture for pain relief
I am a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
In addition I teach Tai Chi and Tai Chi adapted exercises. This traditional Chinese exercise combines slow, gentle and graceful movements with controlled breathing. It is designed for relaxation, balance and health.
